>>>> OUR BLUEPRINTS
A unique spatial art exhibition was held in the summer of 2023 in a former vocational school in Pikisaari, where urban street art and various interdisciplinary installations filled the building's corridors, offices, and classrooms.
In the premises of the building condemned for demolition, the works of numerous artists transported the visitor on a symbolic journey, a lifelong learning journey of artisans and artists, traces of which remained as permanent and temporary works in the collective reality.
The purpose of the exhibition was to offer its participants an exceptional experience where the value of architectural culture could also be examined from new angles through the medium of art.
The history of the Pikisaari Home Industry School touches many people, and through a massive art exhibition, we had the opportunity to bid a valuable farewell to a building that provided a place of study, a workplace, and a platform for numerous creative professionals.
Throughout the summer, the space hosted not only the exhibition but also concerts, clubs and workshops. Follow re:formi and stay tuned for upcoming projects!
